Week 10 was a big one for the league’s signal callers. Let’s take a look around the NFL and check out how all the QBs stack up after a few impressive performances.
32. New York Giants Tommy Devito (Last Week #31)
Tommy Devito getting to play for the Giants as a New Jersey native was a nice story, but let’s face it, he isn’t an NFL quarterback. Backup or otherwise.
31. New England Patriots Mac Jones (Last Week #25)
You really have to stink it up to get benched for the final drive of the game, but that is exactly what Mac Jones did in Germany against the Colts when he threw one of the worst interceptions in recent memory on a potential game-winning drive.
30. BYE Los Angeles Rams Brett Rypien (Last Week #30)
The bye couldn’t have come at a better time for the Rams and, honestly, Brett Rypien, who I have to imagine in his heart of hearts is also eagerly awaiting Matthew Stafford’s return to play.

29. New York Jets Zach Wilson (Last Week #26)
Honestly, Zach Wilson did make a couple of impressive plays on Sunday Night against the Raiders, but he also had more than his fair share of those absolute headscratchers that you just don’t expect to see on a professional gridiron.
28. Chicago Bears Tyson Bagent (Last Week #27)
Even the most anti-Justin Fields Bears fans have to be begging for the start to return to action soon. Bagent struggled again this week—against the lowly Panthers too. He completed just 20 of 32 passes for 162 empty yards with no touchdowns.
27. Carolina Panthers Bryce Young (Last Week #29)
Man, was it an ugly Thursday Night Football game between the Panthers and Bears… And Bryce Young deserves more than his fair share of the blame, as he struggled again to find any sort of rhythm.
26. Atlanta Falcons Taylor Heinicke (Last Week #23)
Taylor Heinicke played decently to start off the afternoon against the Cardinals, but unfortunately, the quarterback had to be removed from the action due to injury. The Falcons will be closely monitoring the health of his hamstring in the coming days, otherwise, it may be back to Desmond Ridder full-time.
25. Green Bay Packers Jordan Love (Last Week #24)
The Packers first-year starter showed some flashes completing 21 passes for 289 yards and two scores, but he also threw two costly interceptions—and his completion percentage being just a hair above 50% was concerning.
24. Las Vegas Raiders Aidan O’Connell (Last Week #28)
He hasn’t exactly been lighting up the stat sheet, but Aidan O’Connell has now strung together back-to-back wins for the Raiders since the Josh Mcdaniels firing. 16 for 27 for 153 yards, one touchdown, and one interception isn’t exactly anything to write home about, but he gutted it out against a tough Jets defense—and a win is a win.
23. Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence (Last Week #14)
Trevor Lawrence may as well have stayed on his couch this week. He got brutalized by the 49ers defense with both teams coming off the bye. He completed just 17 of 29 passes for 185 yard, no touchdowns and surrendered two picks.
22. Tennessee Titans Will Levis (Last Week #12)
Not a good showing from Will Levis this week. The Titans rookie quarterback took a step back against the Bucs, making more than a couple of youthful mistakes in the loss.
21. Denver Broncos Russell Wilson (Last Week #19)
Russ was solid against the Bills this week on Monday Night Football. At this point in his career, he isn’t the same quarterback we saw in Seattle, but that showing was way better than what we’ve come to expect from him during his Broncos tenure and who knows—if he keeps that up, maybe we will see him recapture the Seattle magic.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers Kenny Pickett (Last Week #17)
The Steelers keep finding ways to win games with Kenny Pickett throwing for under 200 yards. It is hard to tell how much of his low production is pure scheme vs. his inherent limitations.
19. Indianapolis Colts Gardner Minshew (Last Week #16)
Gardner Minshew was about as electric as a quarterback can be in a 10-point outing. He was only 18 for 28 for 194 yards, but he made some great throws under pressure and ultimately found a way to get it done.
18. Cleveland Browns Deshaun Watson (Last Week #20)
Deshaun Watson got off to a terrible start against Baltimore, but we have to give him credit for the way he led the Browns back in the second half. He was impressive and dare I say—even resembled his Houston self.
17. New Orleans Saints Derek Carr (Last Week #15)
After a couple of solid games in a row, Derek Carr was jettisoned from the lineup midgame due to injury. It is a shame too—because he was off to a solid start, having completed 13 of 18 for 110 yards.
16. Arizona Cardinals Kyler Murray (Last Week N/A)
After a brutal start to the season, the Cardinals have to be happy to have Kyler Murray back in the action. Even the biggest Kyler haters must admit he looked pretty impressive considering his extended absence.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield (Last Week #21)
Baker Mayfield had a great game 21/30, 265 yards. 2 TDs and a QBR 119.4 but not good enough to get his team the win.
14. Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson (Last Week #3)
Not a great week for Lamar Jackson, as he played an integral role in the Ravens blowing a big lead against the Browns at home. 13 for 23 for 223 yards and two interceptions to one touchdown isn’t going to get it done come playoff time.
13. Buffalo Bills Josh Allen (Last Week #5)
Another reckless performance from Josh Allen this week against the Broncos. It is obvious that he can make all the throws, not to mention the plays with his legs, but he’ll have to get crisper for Buffalo to contend come playoff time, which at this point, isn’t a foregone conclusion for the Bills.
12. San Francisco 49ers Brock Purdy (Last Week #22)
It turns out Brock Purdy wasn’t broken, he just couldn’t mask the impact of the injuries San Francisco had on the offensive side of the ball. He looked great against the Jags though, completing 19 of 26 passes for 296 yards and three scores.
11. Seattle Seahawks Geno Smith (Last Week #18)
As bad as Geno was last week against the Ravens, he was impressive Week 10 against the Commanders. Seattle’s signal caller finished the afternoon with 31 completions on 47 attempts for 369 yards and two touchdowns to zero interceptions.
10. BYE Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa (Last Week #6)
After a couple of mediocre starts, it isn’t a huge shock that Tua got dropped a few slots on the bye. His staying power isn’t what it would’ve been at the beginning of the season.
That said, he is still well deserving of a top-10 spot and will have a good opportunity to prove it against the Raiders in Week 11.
9. Minnesota Vikings Joshua Dobbs (Last Week #11)
If his first appearance for the Vikings was beginner’s luck, I’m not sure what to call this one—because Dobbs balled out again this week. The dual-threat quarterback was huge for Minny all game, completing 23 of 34 passes for 268 yards and a score—while also adding 44 yards and a score on the ground.
8. Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow (Last Week #2)
Joe Burrowed looked great to start the game against Houston this week, but he was a little bit inconsistent in the second half. He held onto the ball a little too long too often and the resulting four sacks he took, along with the two interceptions he tossed might’ve been the difference in the game.
7. Detroit Lions Jared Goff (Last Week #7)
Jared Goff was awesome this week in Detroit’s action-packed win against the Chargers. He completed 23 of 33 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns.
6. Los Angeles Chargers Justin Herbert (Last Week #10)
Justin Herbert was on fire Sunday against an admittedly porous Lions secondary. Some of the throws the Chargers quarterback was making were insane.
He finished the outing having completed 27 of 40 passes for 323 yards and four scores, toss one interception in the process.
5. Washington Commanders Sam Howell (Last Week #13)
Sam Howell has been absolutely balling of late. The Commanders young QB lit up the Seattle defense to the tune of 312 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.
4. BYE Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes (Last Week #4)
Let’s see what the Chiefs were able to piece together offensively this week on the bye. Patrick Mahomes has been trying to refine his connection with his new receivers all year—and he’ll be on a big stage this week facing the Eagles on Monday Night Football in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl.
3. Houston Texans C.J. Stroud (Last Week #9)
C.J. Stroud is as hot as it gets right now. Houston’s rookie quarterback outdueled Joe Burrow Sunday, finishing with 356 passing yards and one touchdown—and punched one in on the ground as well.
He does need to be a little bit more careful with the football, but man, does this kid look special.
2. BYE Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts (Last Week #1)
Jalen Hurts got jumped this week while on bye, but with the highly anticipated Monday Night Football matchup against the Chiefs looming, he’ll have ample opportunity to get back into the top spot Week 11.
1. Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott (Last Week #8)
Credit where credit is due—Dak Prescott has been on fire in recent weeks. Granted, in Week 10 it came against a Giants team that was in complete disarray, but he went for 404 yards and four touchdowns—and has earned the top spot this week.
