Randy Moss’ son, Thaddeus Moss, has hit out at Larry Fitzgerald Sr. for sharing what he claims is a false and “disgusting” report about his father’s health.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer has stepped away from his role at ESPN, having revealed he’s battling something internally that would necessitate him wearing sunglasses on TV.
Fitzgerald Sr., the father of former NFL wideout Larry Fitzgerald Jr., took to X on Tuesday night with claims that Randy had been diagnosed with liver cancer.
Of course, other big accounts picked this up. Fellow Hall of Famer Brett Favre was also among those who shared the update and offered prayers.
Thaddeus, a tight end who’s played in the NFL, CFL, and USFL, reacted to Fitzgerald’s claims with a strong rebuttal.
“This is disgusting,” he commented under the tweet. “You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of engagement. I do not believe my father talks to you, so check your f**king sources.”

He also responded to Favre, though hardly as harshly, causing the former quarterback to edit his tweet and reply with praying hands.

Randy Moss’ Son Wasn’t The Only Son Who Checked Larry Fitzgerald Sr.
The senior Fitzgerald’s own son criticized him after he shared the post regarding Randy Moss’ condition.
“Dad, I think it’s best to respect his privacy on this,” he wrote. “If he feels ready to share more about his health, he will. In the meantime, let’s focus on sending him positive energy, prayers, and support rather than speculating.”
Moss, widely considered to be the greatest receiver in NFL history, is definitely dealing with something.
He remains in our thoughts.
