This is beyond freaky.
The coronavirus pandemic has sports leagues around the country in hiatus right now, and even though it hasn’t affected the NFL season, it has stopped them from doing their regular thing when it comes to the NFL Draft.
The draft will be fully virtual, but if we listened to a guy six years ago, we would’ve seen this coming already.
A Twitter user named Korey O. Mitchell predicted the 2020 draft would happen remotely…all the way back in 2014.
“@TheHerd prediction, the 2020 NFL draft will be virtual #trying2deflectattentionawayfromleaguehq,” Mitchell wrote. If you need any indication how long ago this exchange happened, Colin Cowherd still worked at the Worldwide Leader.
