Jameis Winston had a crazy 2019 season that saw him throw for a career-best 5,109 yards and 33 touchdowns in 2019. Those are eye-popping numbers, but they mean a lot less when you add in the fact that he threw 30 interceptions, seven pick-6 interceptions that included a win Week 17 one in OT that ended the Bucs season.
Last season, Winston had only thrown 14 interceptions, but he only played in 11 games, as he lost his job twice to Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Despite never throwing for over 20 interceptions, one random Reddit user correctly predicted the stats Winston would put, only being off by 109 passing yards when it was all said and done.
Reddit user “abowmanlex” needs to by a lottery ticket right now.
Now, the Bucs need to figure out if they want to bring him back for another year to see if he can get those turnover numbers down while keeping the good side up.
