When you’re the leader of a team, whether it be a quarterback, coach, or general manager, you always want guys who want to play for you. Plain and simple.
The Dallas Cowboys seem to agree, and that’s probably why they went out and got former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb.
While speaking to Joe Machota of the Dallas News, Cobb revealed that he had a little message for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys at this year’s NFL Honors prior to the Super Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia.
Cobb told Dak to “come get me,” and the Cowboys did just that, signing him to a one-year deal worth $5-million. It seems like a perfect fit for both sides. Let’s see if that’s how it all plays out in 2019.
