The Los Angeles Rams are well aware they are in the midst of a lost season, so they know there is no shot of obtaining a free agent WR.
According to team insider Greg Beacham, the Rams are no longer reserving Odell’s spot in the SoFi Stadium locker room. They reportedly kept his nameplate for the entire 2022 season, but it’s clear they have no shot in getting him and it wouldn’t make sense for the WR to play for a bad team.
With a 3-8 record and bringing up the rear of the NFC West, the Rams are just playing for nothing else than respect and they might not even have that after this team bottomed out after winning the Super Bowl less than a year ago.
In the meantime, after suffering a torn ACL in the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, OBJ has been rehabbing and waiting for another opportunity to join a contender. The star wide receiver is reportedly taking three visits over the next few weeks.
He’s expected to have formal meetings with the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Buffalo Bills.
