Los Angeles Rams All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey has deleted a tweet about him potentially getting traded.
Ramsey’s name has been mentioned in trade rumors in recent weeks, but there’s no firm indication that the Rams actually want to shop the superstar defensive back.
Responding to a tweet from Bleacher Report about being potentially cut, Ramsey claimed that he won’t be cut, though a trade is a “maybe.” You can see a screenshot of the since-deleted tweet below:
Ramsey posted a similar tweet but took out the tidbit about a potential trade.
Los Angeles acquired Ramsey in a 2019 trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars early in the 2019 season. A year later, the Rams handed the perennial Pro Bowler a five-year contract extension worth $105 million.

The Florida State product has been everything the Rams paid for, and more. He has earned Pro Bowl nods in each of his seasons with LA and played an instrumental role in helping them to a Super Bowl 56 championship in the 2021 campaign.
2022 was a rough year for the Rams, who slumped to a 5-12 finish just one year after winning the Super Bowl. There was speculation that Sean McVay would resign as head coach, but he wound up committing to 2023.
