MLB star Shohei Ohtani was in attendance for the Los Angeles Rams ‘Thursday Night Football’ fixture against the New Orleans Saints and was on the receiving end of an incredible gesture from the home team after the game.
The Rams are one of the hottest teams in the NFL at the moment, coming alive at just the right time to win five out of their last six games. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has been playing some of the best football of his career following claims that he was past it, while rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua is just 147 yards shy of the record for the most receiving yards for a first-year player in league history.
Sean McVay has also been showing his mettle as he’s getting the best out of his young roster, and the Rams are now well on pace to make it to the playoffs as they’re now second in the NFC with an 8-7 record.
Ohtani, who recently joined the Dodgers, was invited into the locker room after the Rams’ win over New Orleans and shook hands with some of the players amid his acclimation tour.
The two-time MLB MVP signed a record $700 million deal to join the Dodgers earlier this month that requires him to stick around for the next ten years.

The Rams could be seeing him often now. In the meantime, they will look to end the regular season on a high, with games against the New York Giants and San Franciso 49ers set to close things off.
