To say Marcus Peters has been waiting for a rematch against the New Orleans Saints would be a gross understatement.
During a Week 9 loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Rams cornerback was completely burned by Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas on a 72-yard touchdown. Thomas finished that game with 12 passes for 100+ yards & a touchdown.
Following the game, head coach Sean Payton stated how much the team liked the matchup between Peters and Thomas and those comments seemed to run Peters the wrong way.
Peters fired back at Sean Payton and hoped the teams met with each other later on down the road.
Just days ahead of the game, Peters took to Twitter and threw some shots toward the Saints in a since-deleted tweet:

If you’re in the know, New Orleans is known for their Gumbo and Peters is clearly seeing the team as food and ready to devour.
Peters may need to work on himself before throwing shots, seeing as how he was getting beat quite frequently against Amari Cooper during their divisional matchup last weekend.
