The hype surrounding the matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams lived up to every expectation, and the ratings showed it.
ESPN revealed on Wednesday that it had 15.9 million viewers tuning into this week’s edition of Monday Night Football, which made it the second-best audience for Monday Night Football over the past 27 games.
Adding to it is the fact that it was the best audience for a Week 14 game since the 2013 season. Overall, ESPN is averaging 13.389 million viewers per Monday night game this season.
Numbers are up across the board in 2021.
As for the game, the Arizona Cardinals’ comeback fell short in a 30-23 loss on Monday Night Football to the Los Angeles Rams. Arizona had an opportunity to be the first team in the NFL to clinch a playoff spot with a win, but unfortunately, their record at home this season fell to 3-3 compared to their perfect 7-0 stretch away from State Farm Stadium.
With the win on Monday night, the Rams improved to 9-3.
