It is quite obvious that the Las Vegas Raiders need better QB play if they want to make a serious run to the postseason.
Colin Cowherd believes the team should be in serious consideration to try and trade for Deshaun Watson.
On Monday’s edition of The Herd, he suggested that team trades QB Derek Carr, TE Darren Waller and four first-round picks as an offer for Deshaun Watson.
“You don’t think the Texans would listen?” Cowherd argued. “You can win a lot of games with Derek Carr.”
The Houston Texans have maintained a public front that Deshaun Watson isn’t going anywhere, but if they can’t repair the relationship, they will have no choice but to send him to another franchise and go into a full rebuild.
According to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain, the team would want in a Watson deal: two first-round draft picks, two second-round selections and two young defensive starters.
