The Las Vegas Raiders have been connected to the possible signing of Tom Brady since the end of Patriots season, but he isn’t the only quarterback the franchise is looking at.
Another name has been added to the list, with the franchise reportedly interested in signing Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota this offseason.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Raiders aren’t trying to bring in Mariota to be the starter, but rather the potential backup to Derek Carr.
Mariota was drafted No. 2 by the Tennessee Titans, but his up-and-down career in his five years led to him being benched in 2019 in favor of Ryan Tannehill, who delivered a spark to the entire team and had led them all the way to the AFC Championship Game.
He will surely be looking for a change of scenery to revitalize his career.
