The Oakland Raiders are getting set to face a good defense this weekend when they travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings in a pivotal Week 3 matchup.
Quarterback Derek Carr and the Raiders offense will need to get out to an early lead and force QB Kirk Cousins to play from behind.
Part of that Raiders attack is feeding running back Josh Jacobs the ball, but that may not be an option this week. On Thursday, the rookie running back took to Instagram and stated he’s been so sick this week that he’s dropped 10 pounds.
Jacobs ran the ball 23 times during Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, but only ran the ball 12 times the following week against the Chiefs.
For his health, it may be a good idea to sit him out one week so he can recover.
