Allegiant Stadium is truly one of a kind.
One of the most notable components of the $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium is the massive field tray that will hold the natural grass turf the Raiders will play on. The 4-foot deep tray moves the 9,500-ton grass field in and out of the stadium, taking around 90 minutes.
This week, the team gave a close-up and sped-up view of how it looks when the tray makes it way inside the stadium.
There won’t be any fans in the stands for Las Vegas Raiders games this year, but fans still might be able to visit the home of the Silver & Black. The Raiders’ website says stadium tours will be coming later in 2020, offering fans a chance to go behind the scenes of the brand-new facility.
Public and private tours are expected to begin in the fall, according to the team website.
