The first round of this week’s NFL draft will answer many questions. Of course, the biggest one on everyone’s mind: Who will be picked first overall?
It’s been quite a shuffle at the top, with Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Jalen Carter, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson all tipped to go No. 1 at various points in recent months.
With the mega event less than three days away, Levis is back in the conversation as sportsbooks have him 4/1 to go first overall, with odds having shrunk from 50/1. According to Joe Pompliano, this change is all because a Reddit account made claims of the player telling his family and friends he will be picked by the Carolina Panthers, who have the top selection following their trade with the Chicago Bears.
The former Penn State and Kentucky quarterback only recently usurped Stroud as the favorite to go No. 2 but he’s now the second favorite to see his name the first taken off the board.
We won’t have to wait much longer to find out. While an unknown NFL GM has dunked on this year’s draft class with claims that it “sucks,” there are several exciting QBs set to enter the NFL and it’s likely that at least a handful of them will end up in the Hall of Fame.

Although Levis might not be considered the best prospect in 2023, he’s undoubtedly the most interesting.
