Scouts for multiple NFL teams attended the practice session of Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday, four days ahead of their home showdown with the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Shedeur Sanders is regarded as one of the best prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft class, with some scouts and analysts projecting that he’ll go first overall. And with the race for football’s worst record wide open, there’s a long list of potential landing spots for Sanders in April.
Per the @SkoBuffsGoBuffs X/Twitter account, the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets all had scouts at Colorado’s practice on Tuesday. The G-Men had two scouts and assistant GM Brandon Brown to observe Deion Sanders’ squad.
Among those teams, the Giants are the only team that will probably eye a new starting quarterback next year. The Texans (CJ Stroud) and Ravens (Lamar Jackson) are obviously set, while the Saints and Jets are unlikely to cut ties with Derek Carr and Aaron Rodgers, respectively.
Heading into Saturday’s showdown with Cincinnati, Shedeur Sanders has completed 72.2 percent of pass attempts for 2,268 yards, 19 touchdowns and six interceptions with two rushing scores.
Brown even spoke to the Buffalos players at practice:

Brown, who has been with GM Joe Schoen and the Giants since 2022, even spoke to the Buffalos players at practice:
The Giants (2-5) will try to avoid a three-game losing skid when they visit Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Monday night.
Shedeur Sanders Is The QB The Giants Need
Fortunately for the Giants, there’s a way out of Daniel Jones’ $160 million contract in 2025 that would carry few financial ramifications. So the path is clear to move on from the 2019 first-round pick and start afresh behind center.
A player with the all-world talents of Shedeur Sanders could be the one to save the Giants franchise. He’d have some nice pieces here in rising star wideout Malik Nabers, speedster Wan’Dale Robinson, offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and the running back tandem of Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy Jr.
