Sometimes, you can’t help but wonder what exactly is going through some people’s heads.
Take the protestor from Monday Night Football this past week, for example. He actually thought he could trespass onto an NFL field, unleash a canister of pink gas while running around a bunch of enormous dudes in shoulder pads, and walk away unscathed…
And after he actually did get decked, he somehow figured it was within his rights to file a police report against the Rams’ Bobby Wagner and Takkarist McKinley for decking him.
The nerve!
TMZ has reported that the man, who was working with an organization called “Direct Action Everywhere,” filed a police report for the incident with the Santa Clara Police Department on Tuesday.
A representative of Direct Action Everywhere called Wagner and McKinley’s actions, “blatant assault.” The video (and the circumstances surrounding it), however, appear to suggest otherwise.

The organization claims that the two protestors (a female accompanied him onto the field but was immediately tackled by security) were trying to raise awareness for a trial regarding the theft of pigs from a factory farm.
They claim that the man suffered a burn as well as some bumps and bruises, but is otherwise doing just fine.
No charges have been laid against Wagner and McKinley at the moment. As for the protestors, they were cited for their actions and released from police custody.
