Ian Rapoport of NFL Network dropped the shocking news on Friday that multiple players had drug tests flagged at the NFL Combine and among those just happened to be Louisville OT Mekhi Becton.
Becton did not have any failed drug tests in college at Louisville.
Per the new CBA rules, Becton will now go into Stage 1 for no more than 60 days where “he will thereafter assume the same status as Players who have never been referred to the Intervention Program.”
The 21-year-old is not only considered to be one of the top offensive tackle prospects, but could wind up being selected in the top-10 next Thursday.
Becton made 33 starts between both left and right tackle while at Louisville.
