Thursday is a big day for a lot of people around the country. But it doesn’t present a problem.
Later tonight, the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will kick off Week 2 of the NFL season on “Thursday Night Football”, beginning at 8:20 pm ET. Seems cool, right?
At 8:00 pm ET, 10 leading Democratic presidential candidates will take the stage in Texas for a 3-hour debate that will run about the same length as the football game.
Andrew Yang does not like that,
The Democratic presidential candidate will be among the those 10 on that stage to debate, but he took to Twitter to question why the debate would overlap with Thursday Night Football.
Yang has a point, because even the most unattractive matchups in the NFL will overpower everything on TV with its ratings and the Democrat debates are sure to feel that later tonight.
