Week 15 is a wrap, but before we move on, let’s take a look around the NFL landscape and power rank every team’s starting running back.
32. Chicago Bears D’Onta Foreman (Last Week #25)
Week 15 was about as bad as it gets for D’Onta Foreman. The veteran running back was held to -6 yards on six carries.
31. Los Angeles Chargers Austin Ekeler (Last Week #30)
Safe to say at this point that Austin Ekeler is washed up. The Chargers running back managed just nine yards on five carries and was essentially a nonfactor in their humiliating loss on Thursday Night Football.
30. Indianapolis Colts Zack Moss (Last Week #27)
Zack Moss was relegated to backup duties midway through this game and finished with only four carries for 13 yards. It looks like it will be more of the Trey Sermon’s show for the remainder of the year.

29. Pittsburgh Steelers Najee Harris (Last Week #31)
Week 15 was another underwhelming one for Najee Harris. The Steelers struggling running back finished with just 33 yards on 12 carries in the lost to Indy.
28. Washington Commanders Chris Rodriguez Jr. (Last Week N/A)
With Brian Robinson out of the lineup, Chris Rodriguez Jr. was slotted into the starting lineup for the Commanders. Let’s just say, don’t expect him to emerge as a bellcow back anytime soon, as his 10-carry, 35-yard performance wasn’t particularly inspiring.
27. Atlanta Falcons Bijan Robinson (Last Week #17)
No one seems to know what is going on with Bijan Robinson in Atlanta. He is still somehow having a hard time getting ingratiated into that offense. He finished with just seven carries for 11 yards. Yikes.
26. Tennessee Titans Derrick Henry (Last Week #11)
Week 15 may have been the nadir of Derrick Henry’s illustrious career. Granted, the offensive line play was terrible, but he had a horrendous afternoon himself, finishing with just nine yards on 16 carries.
25. Green Bay Packers Aaron Jones (Last Week N/A)
Aaron Jones was slotted back into RB1 responsibilities this week with his return from injury, but it looks like his Pro Bowl-caliber days are over. He finished Green Bay’s deflating loss to the Buc with just 53 yards on 13 carries and was a liability as a pass blocker.
24. New England Patriots Ezekiel Elliott (Last Week #16)
Ezekiel Elliot came back to earth this week with a poor showing against a strong Chiefs defense. The veteran halfback turned 11 carries into just 25 yards.
23. Baltimore Ravens Gus Edwards (Last Week #32)
Gus Edwards had a solid showing for the Ravens this week, turning 16 carries into 58 yards and one touchdown. He should see an increased workload in the coming weeks with the injury to Keaton Mitchell.
22. Denver Broncos Javonte Williams (Last Week #15)
This was not a good week for Javonte Williams. The Broncos running back got 12 carries on Saturday and managed a measly 27 yards in the loss.
21. Dallas Cowboys Tony Pollard (Last Week #20)
Tony Pollard was quiet again this week for the Cowboys. He wasn’t able to get any sort of momentum going all game and finished with only 11 carries for 52 yards.
20. New York Giants Saquon Barkley (Last Week #12)
Sunday was tough sledding for Saquon Barkley, who has had an extremely up-and-down season. Barkley finished the game against the Saints with just nine carries for 14 yards.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars Travis Etienne Jr. (Last Week #24)
Hopefully, you didn’t have your fantasy playoffs hinging on Travis Etienne this week. The Jaguars halfback was relatively quiet, particularly in the run game, as his 10 carries amounted to just 31 yards.
18. Philadelphia Eagles D'Andre Swift (Last Week #22)
After a couple of challenging weeks, D’Andre Swift looked like he was in a much better rhythm this week against the Seahawks. Swift turned 18 carries into 74 yards.
17. Kansas City Chiefs Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Last Week #23)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire is making the most of his opportunity while Pacheco remains sidelined due to injury. He made an awesome catch in the endzone for a touchdown and finished with 101 total yards from scrimmage on 17 touches.
16. Cleveland Browns Jerome Ford (Last Week #19)
It was a tough week for Jerome Ford, as Chicago’s defense was extremely keyed in on stopping the run. He finished with just 20 rushing yards on eight carries.
15. New York Jets Breece Hall (Last Week #7)
The Jets electric playmaker couldn’t get anything going this week against the Dolphins. Breece Hall finished with just 18 yards from scrimmage on seven touches.
14. Las Vegas Raiders Zamir White (Last Week #21)
With Josh Jacobs sidelined by injury, Zamir White was slotted into starting duties. All things considered, he had himself a solid outing, taking 17 carries for 69 yards and one touchdown, plus chipping in three catches for 15 yards as well.
13. Arizona Cardinals James Conner (Last Week #10)
James Conner had one of his better games of the season, as the Cardinals running back turned 14 carries into 86 yards and a touchdown.
12. Seattle Seahawks Kenneth Walker III (Last Week #29)
Kenneth Walker III was a monster this week for the Seahawks. The elusive and explosive running back turning 19 carries into 86 yards and an impressive 23-yard touchdown scurry.
11. Cincinnati Bengals Joe Mixon (Last Week #9)
The Bengals gave up on the run game a little bit on Saturday, but Joe Mixon looked good with the opportunities that he got. The Cincinnati running back finished with 10 carries for 47 yards and a crucial touchdown. Mixon was also a reliable checkdown option, hauling in three catches for 14 yards.
10. New Orleans Saints Alvin Kamara (Last Week #13)
Alvin Kamara was impressive for New Orleans this week. The former All-Pro went for 110 yards from scrimmage on 21 touches and was the Saints most consistent form of offense all game.
9. Carolina Panthers Chuba Hubbard (Last Week #6)
Chuba Hubbard had a modest, but effective afternoon in a weak Carolina offense. The journeyman running back finished with 87 yards on 22 carries and tacked on two catches for an additional 16.
8. Houston Texans Devin Singletary (Last Week #14)
Devin Singletary had himself an afternoon down in Music City. The Texans running back took 26 carries for 121 yards—and nearly had the game-winning touchdown in overtime—if only it hadn’t been called back for holding.
7. Minnesota Vikings Ty Chandler (Last Week N/A)
With Alexander Mattison sidelined by an ankle sprain, an opportunity was opened up for Ty Chandler and boy did he make the most of it. Chandler had a huge game turning 23 carries into 132 yards and a touchdown, while also tacking on three catches for 25 yards.
6. Miami Dolphins Raheem Mostert (Last Week Last Week #2)
Raheem Mostert was relatively quiet on the ground this week, turning 15 carries into only 42 yards, but did manage to get into the endzone twice for Miami.
5. Detroit Lions Jahmyr Gibbs (Last Week #8)
Jamhyr Gibbs had another big week for the Lions, as the rookie running back turned 11 carries into 100 yards and a touchdown in a statement victory for Detroit.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rachaad White (Last Week #5)
Rachaad White’s hot streak continued this week, as the Bucs young running back delivered for Tampa, turning 21 carries into 89 yard and chipping in two catches for 50 yards and a score. His recent success has done wonders to open up the rest of the offense for Baker Mayfield and co.
3. Buffalo Bills James Cook (Last Week #4)
This Buffalo rushing attack looks completely revitalized since Ken Dorsey was jettisoned out of the organization. James Cook had a career day against Dallas, finishing with an insane 179 rushing yards and one touchdown on 25 carries, not to mention the other touchdown and 42 yards he contributed to the passing game.
2. Los Angeles Rams Kyren Williams (Last Week #3)
The return of Kyren Williams to the starting lineup has completely changed the Rams offense. The young running back had another huge game this week, gashing the porous Commanders D for 157 yards and a score on 27 carries.
1. San Francisco 49ers Christian McCaffrey (Last Week #1)
No shocker here, Christian McCaffrey had another monster game. He hauled in five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 115 yards and another score. At this point, he needs to be seriously considered for MVP honors.
