Things are happening in the NFL involving Deshaun Watson and Tua Tagovailoa. On Wednesday, it was reported that a trade for Deshaun Watson as soon as this week, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
One would think that Tua would be involved and headed to Houston, but that is not the case. Texans beat writer Coty Davis relayed the below information:
“In regards to the Texans closing in on a deal that would send Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins, I am hearing that it could be a three team deal that would send Tua Tagovailoa to the Washington Football Team.”
NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright stated it would be Washington as well instead of the rumors of the Denver Broncos being in the mix.
Another NFL insider, Aaron Wilson, made it very clear that the Texans have never been in the market to receive Tua in a trade.

Tagovailoa, 23, was selected with the No. 5 overall pick out of Alabama in 2020 by the Dolphins.
In the eyes of Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter, the former Alabama quarterback isn’t the answer for the Dolphins moving forward.
“I like Tua,” Carter said on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Tuesday. “He’s a nice guy, but he can’t be my quarterback moving forward. I gotta be able to make the trade. I’ve got the picks, and I’m gonna get me a guy. [Do] you know the reason why? Because I can’t replace that whole offensive line, but if I trade for Deshaun Watson, I can have a bad offensive line, and he can get around with it.”
So far in 2021, he has three games and completed 50-78 pass attempts for 544 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He’s also rushed seven times for 23 yards and a touchdown.
