Aidan Hutchinson, one of the NFL’s early favorites for Defensive Player of the Year honors, was injured in the Lions’ Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys, and it did not look good.
While the Detroit Lions are on their way to a decisive Week 6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, Sunday’s win will cost them big time.
Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson stayed down on the field after sacking Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott near the start of the third quarter.
It was clear by his reaction and the other players that something was wrong.
Hutchinson’s lower left leg made contact with Lions defensive tackle Alim McNeill and appeared to snap.
Players immediately started to pray as a cart would come out.

The Lions led the Dallas Cowboys 34-6 at the time of Hutchinson’s injury.
They are well on their way to improving to 4-1 and have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL.
However, losing Hutchinson for a while would severely impact their hopes of making the first Super Bowl in franchise history.

The Detroit Lions are crushing the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, but they suffered a serious loss in the third quarter when defensive end Aidan Hutchinson injured his lower leg while sacking Dak Prescott.
Hutchinson immediately knew something was wrong as he removed his mouthpiece and took off his gloves as the trainers came over to check on him.
