On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans squared off in a highly anticipated game, as both teams are Super Bowl hopefuls. The Bills would lose 20 – 23, yet the worse part of the day might have been what happened to Josh Allen.
During the fourth quarter, Allen had to be pulled from the game to check whether he had a concussion after hitting the ground hard. He would only miss one play before making his way back into the game.
Of course, it was assumed that he had cleared the concussion test and was all good to return, but that may not have been the case.
It’s being speculated that he did suffer a concussion, but the Bills just gave him smelling salts and sent him back in. If that’s the case, this could become a huge deal.
Popular sports doctor Jesse Morse said that Buffalo should experience a “HUGE PENALTY” because of this and that it could be “VERY risky for Josh Allen’s health.”
The penalty Morse mentions could be a few different things. The most likely scenario would be a huge fine and the possibility that the team loses draft picks.

With how serious the NFL is treating head injuries, you can expect there to be a formal investigation happening very soon.
Josh Allen Denies Suffering A Head Injury
After the game, reporters asked Allen why he had to be taken out of the game.
“Big shot to the chest and I rolled my ankle there,” Allen said, according to Pro Football Talk. “They flagged me for hitting my head, but felt good enough to go back in the game.”
Now the situation gets even more tricky as Allen denied suffering the head injury and rather states it was because of an ankle injury.
