Wide receiver Cooper Kupp had to be assisted off the field with a limp during Sunday’s Rams game against the Arizona Cardinals. It seems that his left ankle was injured when it was rolled up during a tackle.
Popular sports doctor Jesse Morse has gone to social media to showcase why specifically an injury ankle for Kupp is so concerning.
He posted photos of some other injuries during Kupp’s playing career and noted that his right ankle has already been through a lot.
Kupp’s specific injuries consist of three ankle sprains: one to the lower ankle, one to the high ankle, and one that doesn’t specify.
Of course, anyone who knows the receiver knows he has been a major victim of the injury bug.
In 2022, Kupp missed eight of the Rams’ regular-season games because of one of those ankle sprains that required surgery.

Spirits were high in 2023 that he could return to dominant form, but he missed the first four games because of a hamstring issue and ended up playing in just 12 games.
Now, at 31 years old and in the second week of the season, it’s very disheartening that Kupp could miss a lot of time due to an injury once again.
Cooper Kupp Looked Amazing In Week 1
What makes this news even worse is how amazing Kupp had looked for the Rams in Week 1 against the Lions.
He reeled in 14 receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown. Despite losing, he was one of the players who kept them in it the whole time.
It gave many hope that he could return to his 2021 form when he won the triple crown and led the league in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
Hopefully, Kupp can come back quickly and go back to doing what he always does.
