Michael Strahan is missing and is not slated to return back to work for some time.
Strahan will not return to his hosting gig on “Good Morning America” this week amid nearly two weeks off air.
Aside from his “Good Morning America” duties, Strahan wasn’t on “FOX NFL Sunday” this past weekend and hasn’t been for just as long. On Monday, the NFL community received an update as he is dealing with personal family issues.
“Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters,” an ABC spokesperson said in a statement. “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”
His last appearance on the ABC News show came on Oct. 26th.
Strahan typically appears alongside a rotating cast that includes Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer, and Ginger Zee. In the meantime, ABC has been replacing him on “Good Morning America” with “Nightline” co-anchor Juju Chang and “World News Tonight” anchor Linsey Davis.
