ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky suggested he could be done with The Worldwide Leader in Sports on Monday, having made a shocking announcement on live television.
The former NFL quarterback appeared on Monday’s post-Super Bowl episode of ‘First Take’ and later signed off, noting he would be off television for a while and wasn’t sure how things would pan out in the future.
“I’m taking a break, won’t be on TV for a long time,” he said, “never know what the future holds but I’m taking a break… just want to say thank you. Appreciate you guys so much.”
Check him out in the video below:
Of course, ESPN has a host of analysts under contract, so some of them could afford to take breaks after a busy football season. However, it does seem like Orlovsky will be out for much longer than just a break, as he hinted at an uncertain future.
