Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested on Thursday, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said.
Since the initial announcement, police have released new details about the arrest. Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown said Thursday that Jeudy was involved in an incident with the mother of his one-month-old daughter.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff, Tyler Brown, just met with media members and stated Jeudy had “no physical contact” with the alleged female victim in the case.
Jeudy will see the judge tomorrow, which means he will remain in jail until then.
Jeudy was accused of withholding the baby’s car seat and medical records, as well as the woman’s wallet. Jeudy allegedly told police he had taken the items because the woman had one of his phones and refused to return it to him.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office says Jeudy was booked on a misdemeanor criminal tampering charge “with a domestic violence enhancer.” Cops listed the charge as a misdemeanor.
The Broncos have released a statement following Jeudy’s arrest, saying they’re aware of the situation and “are in the process of gathering more information.”
Jeudy missed six games this past season because of an ankle injury and finished with 38 receptions for 467 yards and no touchdowns.
On Wednesday, Jeudy had expressed optimism that quarterback Russell Wilson’s arrival would mean a far better season for him was on the horizon.
“He could help me a lot, he’s a great quarterback, a Hall of Fame quarterback that came to the offense as a leader,” Jeudy said. “[He’s] getting me better as well. He’s going to help me a lot this year.”
