Nashville police officers currently have an investigation going at the Tennessee Titans’ Nissan Stadium this week following the grizzly discovery of a dead body found on the property.
NewsChannel5 reports that the deceased person was found inside a tent near Lot M of the stadium’s parking lot.
The initial investigation from police stated it appeared the unidentified man was homeless, and the people who knew him were in the process of trying to find him a place to live.
A spokesperson with the Metro Nashville Police Department also stated that the body wasn’t wrapped in a tarp, but there was a tarp covering found near the body.
As of right now, no foul play is suspected, according to Metro Nashville police.

The Tennessee Titans have plans on breaking ground on the domed 60,000-seat stadium this year, and it will be ready for use in 2027, per Forbes.
City officials believe the new stadium will attract more events, such as the Super Bowl, college football championships, and the Final Four.
Tennessee Titans Hoping To Rebound From Terrible 2023 Campaign
Last season, the Tennessee Titans had a terrible year. They finished dead last in the AFC South with a 6-11 record.
In fact, the team has finished under .500 for the past two seasons after making the playoffs four times out of five years.
This offseason, the team experienced an era change as running back Derrick Henry departed, and Ryan Tannehill is not expected to be back as he is currently a free agent.
The Tennessee Titans also fired head coach Mike Vrabel.
