NFL and college football teams could see the next evolution of new technology very soon after some intriguing news about crazy new developments for their quarterbacks. The future of the sport is very bright.
Football is a game of tradition, and the NFL and all college football teams have their traditions regarding game days, team building, and playing the game itself. Some new technology has been implemented, but not a lot.
Both the professional game and the college athletes could see the implementation of wristbands that are essentially like mini phones. This would be insane as they could have all the plays in the book with the touch of a screen.
A new video, shared with X by MLFootball, shows CNET showing off their latest piece of technology: a highly bendable phone that can easily fit around your wrist, just like a watch. It’s insane.

New Technology Literally Bends Reality
Many NFL players take pride in their gear both on and off the field, and this new technology could see players such as Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, and Patrick Mahomes sport them off the field.
This may not be limited to quarterbacks, as the phone is a tight fit. Some receivers, like Justin Jefferson, Malik Nabers, and possibly even Odell Beckham Jr., can sport their phones on their wrists.

The only issue will be how much the NFL and the colleges think this will benefit the game. Odds are that Commissioner Roger Goodell won’t be open to the idea, but who knows, would the league bring it in if it succeeds in the college ranks?
