The Cleveland Browns are dealing with a quarterback dilemma ahead of their Week 6 clash against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson struggled in relief of Deshaun Watson last week and that means the Cleveland Browns could be turning to someone else.
The Cleveland Browns reportedly will turn to P.J. Walker for the first time this season vs. the San Francisco 49ers if Deshaun Watson cannot play. The Browns will have to elevate Walker to the 53-man roster from the practice squad first.
Watson reportedly did not practice Monday due to a right shoulder injury that sidelined him for Week 4. Despite being medically cleared to play against the Ravens on October 1, Watson himself determined his throwing shoulder was not where he wanted it to be.
Walker brings six years of NFL experience to the Browns. He’s also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. He has also made seven starts in 16 games played over the course of three seasons in Carolina.
