The Pittsburgh Steelers have already made many moves this NFL offseason that have already turned around their entire quarterback room. The team traded for Justin Fields and signed Russell Wilson in free agency.
The Pittsburgh Steelers might not be done adding offensive talent to a team that struggled on the offensive side of the ball during the 2023 season.
Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report thinks the team could add talent by adding a wide receiver to the roster.
Gary Davenport says the Pittsburgh Steelers should be targeting Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins. Davenport predicted the Pittsburgh Steelers to sign Higgins to a 4-year contract worth $99.7 million during 2025 free agency.
During this offseason, the Bengals have placed the franchise on Higgins, which means they could still trade him, but Davenport is arguing the Bengals won’t do that because the return on veteran receivers in trades this offseason has been low.
If Tee Higgins decided to part ways with the team as a free agent next offseason, the Bengals would stand to gain a third-round compensatory selection in the 2026 draft.

During the 2023 season, Higgins racked up 42 receptions for 656 yards and five touchdowns, marking career lows that contributed to him playing just 12 games due to various injuries. He notably averaged a career-high 15.6 yards per catch.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Are Looking To Be A Super Bowl Contender
There are few franchises with the Super Bowl resume of the Pittsburgh Steelers as they have made it to eight Super Bowls, second-best in NFL history, and won six of them. The last of the Steelers Championships came in 2009 in Super Bowl XLIII.
However, they haven’t been a Super Bowl contender for some time, and based on the moves the team has made this offseason, they are trying to change that narrative quickly.
