On Thursday night, the Backyard Brawl between Pitt and West Virginia returns from an 11 year absence.
Tensions were already high, but Adam Pacman Jones may have taken it too far.
It all began on SiriusXM on Tuesday, when Jones shared his thoughts on the great Steel City.
“Have you ever been to Pittsburgh?” Jones asks.
“It’s a shit town, man. The roads are bumpy. It’s always raining. It’s cold, drowsy. There’s nothing good about Pittsburgh. That’s why we call Shitsburgh.”
Pittsburgh’s 93.7 The Fan welcomed former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones to their morning show Thursday to break down the highly-anticipated matchup.
He barely lasted three minutes before the stating was forced to hang up the phone.

“Shit, I don’t like them either… Fuck Pittsburgh, eat shit, Pitt.”
The morning show ended the interview there.
“Man, this was going so well,” said Dunlap. “You know, every time I’ve ever talked to Adam Jones, he was respectful.”
“I can’t call him back,” Crowely said in a defeated tone.
“No you can’t call him back! He said the f-word on the air!” Dunlap stated. “What do you mean call him back? Of course you can’t call him back! That’s one strike and you’re out.”
Jones would soon send in a text to explain himself.
“My bad, lol.’ I’m thinking SiriusXM, sorry,” Jones texted.
