A video of former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is going viral after the Super Bowl winner was shown reacting rather strangely after the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Thursday night.
The Nuggets have a 2-0 advantage over the Lakers after last night’s Western Conference final showdown, beating the 2020 champions 108-103 to take a crucial lead over LeBron James and company ahead of the series’ shift to L.A.
The Lakers seemed to be well on their way to evening things up at 1-1 but the Nuggets rallied back in the second half to close things out, much to the delight of the effusive Denver crowd.
Manning was among those who witnessed the inspiring comeback, having ditched New Orleans for Denver since joining the Broncos in 2012. The two-time Super Bowl champion enjoyed the action alongside his young son, with the two getting some great seats.
However, he appeared to be pretty pissed off at one point, presumably during the period during which the Lakers were dominating proceedings.
