Ava Hunt is growing up fast.
The daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt is a freshman at SMU, but she is nothing like your average college student since money has never been and will never be a problem in her life.
It only made sense that her dorm room on campus mirrored her privileged lifestyle.
Ava Hunt was recently dropped off at SMU for her freshman year, which came as bittersweet for her mother, Tavia Hunt.
“Today, I left a piece of my heart at SMU,” she wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram.
“Ava Hunt, you’ve always been a mix of sunshine and hurricane – fierce, fearless, and capable of incredible things. I’m overflowing with excitement for you, even as I tuck away my tears for later.
“I’m wading through emotions as I pass by your now too-clean room, the house is too quiet without your laughter, and Chief and I are already missing the familiar scent of your Sol de Janeiro body spray. I know you’ll return often, and that this marks a new adventure and freedom for both of us …yet, I whisper earnest prayers for your safety, wisdom, and for a tribe of new sisters who love Jesus and love you. May God bless you and watch over you – He has never failed me, nor will He fail you. I’m excited for the lessons you will learn about God’s faithfulness in the coming months.

“Watching you shine your light and grow into the most beautiful version of yourself makes my heart beat a little happier. You’ve worked so hard to get here. Everything that you do from here on out is for you—for your success, happiness, and God’s glory. Acts 20:24 Stay safe. Get sleep. Have faith in yourself. And remember, Mom and Dad are ALWAYS here when you need us. I love you MORE.”
The 18-year-old daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt settled into her dorm room, and Tavia Hunt posted pictures of her luxurious room, which boasted plenty of pink and white accessories.
Earlier this year, Ava Hunt committed to the SMU cheer team.
Ava had quite the senior year in high school. In December, she met and took pictures with Taylor Swift at Arrowhead Stadium when the pop superstar cheered on her boyfriend, star Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.
Chiefs CEO’s Daughter Ava Hunt Underwent Emergency Surgery
Ava Hunt, the youngest daughter of Chiefs owner Clark and his beauty-queen wife Tavia, suffered a serious wound after she fell on a mountain hike earlier this month.
As a result, she had to go through a successful surgery for a deep wound on her leg.
Once released from the hospital, she was able to go home and partake in watching the Paris Olympics.
The Chiefs heiress updated fans about her current health status via an Instagram story.
“Update: surgery went very smoothy and I’m back at home watching my favorite @simonebiles!! I’m feeling great (but I might still be a little drugged up) Thank you for all your sweet messages and prayers!!” Ava Hunt wrote.
