Tavaris Jackson, who was the last HBCU Quarterback to be drafted into the NFL, is no longer with us.
The former Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks QB was taken too soon after he lost his life following a car accident.
He was 36.
Jackson was said to be driving on a road just a few miles south of Montgomery, Alabama when his 2012 Chevrolet Camaro left the road, hit a tree and flipped.
It was a horrific scene that was captured by photos and obtained by TMZ Sports.

Jackson was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
Jackson made his mark at Alabama State where he led the team to the 2004 SWAC title, throwing for 2,655 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions.
He would go on to play 10 NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills and Seahawks from 2006 to 2015 and rack up 7,263 yards and 39 touchdowns with 35 interceptions, and he won a Super Bowl as Seattle’s backup quarterback in 2013.
