Social media detectives reckon they know where CeeDee Lamb is headed amid his contract standoff with the Dallas Cowboys.
Things aren’t great between Lamb and the Cowboys right now, with the wide receiver currently holding out as he seeks a lucrative extension from the NFC team. However, owner Jerry Jones has told reporters he’s in no rush to get a deal done, which has likely made things worse.
Lamb and a former college teammate, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, have opted to stoke the flames by changing their X/Twitter banners to show them together during their Oklahoma days.
Fans reckon a reunion could be on the cards, with Brown having joined the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year.

Of course, CeeDee Lamb to the Kansas City Chiefs is easier said than done, as the two-time defending champions aren’t exactly blessed with cap space. But it does appear that the wideouts want to play on the same team again, though they could just be having some fun.

For his part, CeeDee has also removed “America’s Team” from his bio on said platform.
None of this is great for the Dallas Cowboys, perennial postseason failures who could do with more, not less.
Lamb is one of the best receivers in the NFL and his departure would come as a huge blow.
Still, they could be forced to consider a trade if he continues to hold out.
We’ll just have to wait and see how the saga unfolds, but given their recent social media activity, Lamb and Brown seem to have a mutual interest in playing with each other again.
