The man who was pushed by Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams on Oct. 10 at Arrowhead was apparently in his first day on the job.
After the Raiders’ 30-29 Week 5 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, cameras caught a frustrated Adams pushing a worker to the ground. The man was treated at the hospital and later filed a police report against the Raiders wideout, and Adams was subsequently charged with assault
The worker has since been identified as 20-year-old Ryan Zebley, who later retained attorneys at the Brown & Curry law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. In a statement sent to the New York post, Zebley’s lawyer states that Oct. 10 was his first day on the job.
Adams faces the possibility of a suspension and fine from the NFL, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that the 29-year-old will suit up for Sunday’s Week 7 must-win game against the Houston Texans.
The Raiders held a 17-0 lead over the Chiefs, but Patrick Mahomes and company rallied for another thrilling comeback win on Monday Night Football. The loss dropped Vegas to 1-4 on the season.

Adams offered an apology when he spoke to reporters about the incident after the game, noting that he was frustrated.
In the offseason, the Raiders acquired Adams from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for 2022 first and second-round draft choices. Adams proceeded to sign a lucrative five-year contract worth $141.25 million.
Despite the Raiders’ struggles through five games, Adams has done his part. The future Hall of Famer has 29 receptions for 414 yards and five touchdowns, putting him on pace for a third consecutive 1,000-yard season.
Only time will tell if the NFL hands down a suspension and/or fine to Adams. In the meantime, the Raiders will try to pick up their second win of 2022 against the one-win Texans.
