A photo of Miami Dolphins star running back De’Von Achane looking incredibly shredded has quickly gone viral across the NFL world.
De’Von Achane was one of the top rookies in the 2023 season, rushing for 800 yards and eight touchdowns despite being limited to 11 games. The Texas A&M product was also explosive as a pass-catcher, recording 27 receptions for 197 and three touchdowns.
If Achane wasn’t difficult enough to stop as a rookie, then opposing defenses and coaches better look away. The second-year RB has put a ton of work in the gym, and he’s looking insanely jacked ahead of his sophomore season:

Yep, De’Von Achane definitely looks ready for a monster sophomore season.
At the Dolphins’ team website, the 5-foot-9 Achane is listed at 188 pounds. But with all that extra muscle packed on in just a few short months, one shouldn’t be surprised if he’s over 200 pounds by the time Week 1 rolls around.
The Dolphins are coming off a fourth straight winning season, with their 11-6 record marking the franchise’s best finish in 15 years. However, they were dispatched by the Kansas City Chiefs in a freezing cold game in the Wild Card Round.
De’Von Achane Should Compete For The Rushing Crown In 2024
If he didn’t miss six games due to injury, De’Von Achane would have easily rushed for over 1,000 yards last year. But among all players who appeared in double-digit games, only four players averaged more yards per game than Achane (72.7)
That list consisted of 2023 rushing champion Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers), Kyren Williams (Los Angeles Rams), James Conner (Arizona Cardinals) and 2021 rushing champion Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts).
If Achane stays healthy, he should make a serious push for the 2024 rushing crown. Raheem Mostert was Miami’s lead RB last season, but the younger and more explosive Achane can expect an increased workload next season.
