The start of the 2024 NFL season has not gone according to plan for the Cleveland Browns, and it does not look like it will ever happen with Deshaun Watson as quarterback.
The Browns are 1-2 after a disappointing loss to the New York Giants in Week 3.
Social media thinks they have found out why the team looks so slow and dreadful.
On X, formerly Twitter, an account posted, “No wonder Browns shitty niggas rollin up on the bench,” while posting a picture of a player on the sidelines who was seemingly holding bags of marijuana.
Unfortunately, for everybody who interacted with the post, it is not what it seems.
That picture is of Cleveland Browns cornerback Martin Emerson, and it was taken during the 2022 season.

That 2022 season had its share of drama that included quarterback Deshaun Watson getting suspended 11 games for sexual misconduct and former QB Baker Mayfield leaving the organization.
Fast forward to 2024, and Watson has been accused by another woman of sexual assault, and Baker Mayfield is flourishing in Tampa Bay.
NFC Team Named Trade Suitor For Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper Amid Tough Year
The Cleveland Browns have gotten off to a dreadful 1-2 start, and naturally, trade rumors have begun.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper is in the final year of his deal, and the Browns opted not to give him a contract extension during the offseason.
Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox has identified a team that may push to acquire Cooper: the Los Angeles Rams.
The team has until the Nov. 5 trade deadline to decide what to do with Cooper.
The Browns have five games to figure out if this thing is going to work out or not.
