Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott has a dark sense of humor after he stirred controversy by seemingly referencing 9/11 in a jab at the New York Jets by using Osama Bin Laden.

The Instagram post also included the caption: ‘osama bin tomlin.’
Social media hated everything he did with this post:

DeShon Elliott Might Be Too Young To Understand The Ramifications of His Nasty Post About Osama Bin Laden
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is probably not happy after Steelers safety DeShon Elliott likened him to Osama Bin Laden.
Elliott shared an Instagram post that included photos from last week’s win and a screenshot that appeared to feature Tomlin’s face Photoshopped onto Bin Laden’s. He also added a caption, “Osama Bin Tomlin.”
That was quite a disgusting thing to post, but maybe his age might be a factor.
Bin Laden was a former leader of al-Qaeda and oversaw the 9-11 attacks on New York City in 2001. U.S. forces killed him in May 2011.
DeShon Elliott is 27-years-old, so he would’ve been around the age of four when the attacks happened and then 14 when Osama was found and killed.
His age might be a huge factor in why he would make such a joke and not think about the amount of people he would hurt in the process.
