Jordan Poyer is getting set to play his first season with the Miami Dolphins, and he finds his name trending online over a picture.
The veteran safety, who left the Buffalo Bills this offseason, is a topic of conversation after someone noticed how he looks in Madden NFL 25.
It turns out the game makers decided not to actually look at a picture of Jordan Poyer when he was created because his avatar looks nothing like him.
I’m not sure who that man is, but it certainly is not the veteran safety.
The 33-year-old Poyer agreed to a one-year deal worth $2 million to join the Dolphins after spending the first 12 years of his career split between the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and most notably, the Buffalo Bills for the past six seasons.
According to Over the Cap, Poyer will receive a $1.25 million base salary with half a million guaranteed.

Jordan Poyer’s deal also included a $500,000 signing bonus and $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses.
Despite his deal, Poyer is not a lock to be on the roster in September.
Miami could cut him before the 2024 season begins, and they would save $985,294 while incurring a dead-cap hit of $1 million.
However, he would have to completely suck in training camp and whatever preseason games he plays in for that to happen.
Jordan Poyer Is Coming Off Monster Year In 2023
Jordan Poyer might be 33-years-old, but he showed he still had something left in the tank in 2023.
Poyer finished the 2023 regular season with 101 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, four passes defended, and one forced fumble over 16 games, per ESPN.com.
That was the most tackles he’s had since the 2020 season. However, this was the first time since the 2016 season that he had not recorded an interception.
