On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco square off at Raymond James Stadium. A familiar face was in attendance as former Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden was spotted on the team’s sideline.
Of course, Gruden spent seven seasons with Tampa Bay and made the playoffs three times. In his first season with the team, he led them to their first-ever Super Bowl win in 2002.
However, it goes much deeper than Gurden seeing his former team play. He was an official guest of the Glazer family, which owns the team.
The Glazer family officially bought the team in 1995, so Gruden was one of the first head coach-hiring teams they made as owners.
Could this be a sign of a reunion in some capacity or just old friends catching up?
