Garrett Wilson has been photographed taking a very unnecessary risk this week.
Of course, risking life and limb to pull off a catch will be excused as often as it needs to be, but Wilson has likely prompted the ire of the New York Jets and their fans with his latest move.
The wide receiver has appeared in a viral photo that shows him sitting on the ledge of a tall building several feet off the ground while also flipping the camera off.
Check it out right below:
It doesn’t appear that there was anything beneath him to break a fall if the worst happened. And we hardly need to spell out what could have happened if anything went wrong.

The photo has garnered some dark humor online, with Zach Wilson catching most of the strays.
“If I had Zach Wilson throwing me the ball and wasting a season of my career id be on the same timing,” one fan wrote.

It appears NFL stars are keen on hurting themselves this week. New Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was recently filmed trying to pull off a silly stunt with an ATV and a dirt bike that likely got someone hospitalized.
And now, there’s this…
Garrett Wilson Has Been One Of The Best Players For The Jets In Recent Times
Garrett Wilson has been one of the only reasons for optimism over the past two years where the Jets are concerned. The star wideout was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 and put another 1,000-yard campaign together last season.
He was one of the reasons the Jets traded for Aaron Rodgers last year but the quarterback’s season-ending injury threw a wrench in the spokes. It will be interesting to see how they combine in 2024.
Garrett should probably play it safe until then.
