Something different is going on with the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason, and Ja’Marr Chase has just added to it.
Shortly after a photo surfaced showing Joe Burrow with a new buzz cut for the 2024 NFL season, his favorite wide receiver would do the same thing.
Reporting to training camp on Tuesday, star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase also showed up with a buzzed haircut look as he walked through Paycor Stadium.
A contract extension for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase may not be happening this offseason, but he will certainly get paid with the type of numbers he continues to put up.

Chase, a first-round pick in the 2021 draft, has been a Pro Bowl selection in each of his first three NFL seasons and has set franchise records for most receiving yards in a single game and a single season.
Even though the Bengals didn’t make the playoffs last season following quarterback Joe Burrow’s season-ending wrist injury, Ja’Marr Chase was still good enough to earn a Pro Bowl nod.
He had 1,216 receiving yards, which was the 12th-most in the league.

Bengals Owner Shuts Down Idea of Ja’Marr Chase Extension This Offseason
Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja’marr Chase entered the offseason looking to get a massive extension, but it never happened as we approach the start of the 2024 season.
Bengals owner Mike Brown pushed away from the thought of giving Chase a new deal this offseason.
“It’s not so likely that this is the good time to negotiate,” Brown said, via Ben Baby of ESPN. “The offseason is a better time for that and we’re going to try to keep focused on the football part. I’m not going to rule anything out, but I will tell you that the die has probably been cast.”
Chase didn’t attend the voluntary portion of the team’s off-season program, but he did show up for the mandatory minicamp.
Now, it appears he will be in attendance for training camp.
When it is all said and done, Chase might have an even bigger deal than Justin Jefferson agreed to, a four-year deal worth $140 million with the Minnesota Vikings.
