Nobody associated with the Dallas Cowboys is having a good time in 2024.
Not only did the Cowboys lose to their state rivals in Houston, 34-10, but one of their cheerleaders also caught an L as well.
Hours before the Monday night game, Reece Weaver, a veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader who shined on the “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” show on Netflix, took to her Instagram page and dove into some pregame trash talk against the Houston Texans over which team runs the state.
“Hey Houston, only one team can run the Lone Star State🤠🌟,” she wrote.
As we all saw inside AT&T Stadium, the Houston Texans would prove her wrong.
Joe Mixon ran for three touchdowns, Derek Barnett returned a fumble 28 yards for a score, and the Houston Texans beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-10 on Monday night.

The Cowboys actually had a close halftime score for a change, but eventually, things would turn bad for them in the second half as they failed to score a single point.
The Cowboys’ next game is a road game against the division rival Washington Commanders, before they return to primetime to face the New York Giants on Thanksgiving.
Jerry Jones Speaks Out Amid Dallas Cowboys’ Embarrassing 2024 NFL Campaign
The 2024 NFL season had so much promise for the Dallas Cowboys. Offseason expectations gave way to reality after the team got blown out in their first home game. Nobody had a clue that things would get even worse.
Following Monday night’s 34-10 primetime loss to the Houston Texans, Jerry Jones spoke to reporters about this terrible season.
“We won one game my first year,” Jones said, per ESPN.com. “One. And so, have we had rough seasons? Yes. Yeah, I’ve been around. Certainly, we have. And we’ve had other tough years.
“And this one, we didn’t anticipate the record. And the way we’re playing right now, we wouldn’t have anticipated that. But, not, this isn’t — y’all have heard me tell these old stories until you’re sick — but not, you stay in this league long enough, you’ll have times like this.”
The Dallas Cowboys have been blown out in every home game this season.
Their only hope comes on Thanksgiving from an equally bad Giants team.
