It’s now believed that Rashee Rice was celebrating at a bar with family and friends before one of his vehicles got involved in a serious vehicular accident in Dallas, based on photos obtained by TMZ.
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver could be in some real trouble with the law as it’s understood that he fled the scene of the crash before police arrived.
The photos from TMZ shown below are said to have been taken in Dallas and show Rice with his mother, Marcha Kearney, as well as some other folks, on Saturday.
One of the photos shows someone who looks like the wideout posing with his mother, with another showing him standing next to others who appear to be raising drinks for a toast. Whether the player has a drink in his hand is unclear from the photo, but TMZ claims to have been told by people there that he was present and was “being merry.”

The snaps, though, put him just six miles away from the scene of the crash, while the shirt and jewelry he was wearing looked similar to what one of the guys spotted fleeing the site was wearing.
Police have not revealed whether they believe the player was involved in the collision, but one of the vehicles on the scene is registered in his name.
There are photos and videos taken right after the accident showing males leaving the site. There’s also a clip showing them walking past bystanders who ask whether they’re just going to leave their cars – they don’t offer a response, save one of them who said he was feeling pain in his chest.
Rashee Rice Has Broken His Silence On The Matter
Dallas police had been searching for Rashee Rice since the incident occurred on Saturday evening.
The wide receiver was reported to have retained counsel on Sunday night and, on Monday, attorney Royce West put out a statement on his behalf reading: “On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile accident on Saturday. Rashee is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly.”
