Jayden Daniels isn’t having his best night for the Washington Commanders against the Philadelphia Eagles this Thursday.
The rookie quarterback is experiencing an incredible first season in the pros, but he hasn’t quite been himself during the ‘Thursday Night Football’ clash. And it’s believed to be because of a nasty hand injury.
The ‘TNF’ crew revealed that the player was dealing with a cut on his throwing hand early in the third quarter. You can see a photo of the injury below:
“Ouch!” a fan wrote in the comments.
“Those are the worst especially when it won’t stop bleeding can’t imagine the beating their hands take on a regular basis,” another said.

“NOT GOOD: Photo of #Commanders QB Jayden Daniels hand being treated on the sideline. Daniels was clearly in pain the entire first half and balls were not coming out very pretty,” the MLFootball account shared.
“He’s tough he’ll be fine,” a user replied.
Jayden Daniels Got Glued Up
Daniels has remained on the field despite the injury, with the Washington staff applying superglue to close the wound. The former LSU star was 9-of-15 for 103 yards in the fourth quarter at the time of writing.
The Eagles were leading 12-10 after a Jalen Hurts Brotherly Shove handed them their first lead of the night in said period.
