It’s been a long time since we’ve talked about the Chargers this deep into the season, especially the playoffs, as it hasn’t happened that much over the past few years.
Philip Rivers and the Chargers went into a hostile M&T Bank Stadium over the weekend and walked out victorious, but that was just a snack to what they have to face next week at Foxborough.
The veteran quarterback and the Chargers made it clear that his team isn’t worried about the Ptriots couldn’t care less about their dynasty.
“Gosh, we know the run they’ve had, it seems like forever that they’re always in these games and games beyond,” Rivers said, via Express. “We find so many different ways to win. The defense was unbelievable today. We couldn’t get in the end zone – we finally did. This team, we’re going to fly back home, then we’re going to fly back out here for another 10 am West Coast kick.
“We really don’t care, we’ll be there next Sunday.”
Brady is 2-0 in the playoffs in his career against the Chargers, with the last game being the 2007 AFC Championship Game.
