The Philadelphia Eagles have already decided on the immediate future of star wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Brown has been the subject of transfer rumors for several weeks and was even said to be at the center of a locker-room feud before the playoffs. He has denied this but, whether or not it was true, the Eagles have no plans to trade him.
NFL insider Ben Allbright has reported being told by a team source that Brown is staying in Philly.
“We’re not trading AJ Brown. We haven’t looked into it, we haven’t discussed it. We are not trading him. You can print that,” the source was quoted as saying.
The wideout discussed the rumors during an appearance along with teammate DeVonta Smith on the ‘Up & Adams’ show this Wednesday.
“You know I’ve been through this before, I’m a veteran at this point,” he said. “You know so if something happens, if my phone rings, then I’ll be waiting. And if not then I’ve built my time.
“I’m prepared to focus on my family at home and get better in the offseason then just seeing where this thing go you know,” he admitted. “It’s just chatter, though.”

Philadelphia experienced a surprising collapse after racing off to a 10-1 record in their first 11 games before going to win just one of the last six. Brown also got off to a blistering start and appeared to be on pace for a historic personal campaign over the first eight weeks before suffering a dip in form.
