Another Philadelphia Eagles legend and longtime fan favorite has decided to follow Jason Kelce’s footsteps into retirement.
On Sunday, longtime Eagles star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox announced in a social media post that he’s retiring from football. The 33-year-old spent his entire 12-year career with the NFC East club, helping them to a Super Bowl 52 title in the 2017 season:

The six-time Pro Bowler and 2010s All-Decade Team member recorded 70 sacks, 16 pass defenses and as many forced fumbles in 188 career NFL games. Cox helped the Eagles to seven postseason appearances during his playing career, including two Super Bowl berths.

Cox’s retirement comes six days after Kelce, another perennial Pro Bowler, announced his retirement following a spectacular 13-yea career.
